Floating solar builds rotating, floating solar fields as a means to find a sustainable solution to generating solar power through aquatic systems. Our islands are designed to fit Dutch weather conditions. As a result of its ability to create structures that coexist with their natural environment, Floating Solar is unique in the sense that it embodies maximal productivity while impacting the environment minimally.

The design, preparation and implementation of these systems requires a multi-disciplinary approach and profound knowledge. For this reason, Floating Solar works from the perspective of diverse disciplines. Besides building the rotating islands mentioned prior, static systems are also built on land and bodies of water. Floating Solar additionally provides maintenance and monitoring of its own and external systems.

As a builder of PV-systems with unique technology, we work together with strategic partners such as project developers within the Netherlands and foreign countries, drinking water companies, industrial companies, etc.
