Floating Solar

PV2FLOAT

Floating Solar is proud to contribute to an innovative floating solar project at Mortkasee in Lausitz, Germany. This ambitious initiative features three advanced Floating PV systems, each with a capacity of 30 kilowatt-peak. Our system, positioned closest to the camera in the accompanying images, demonstrates our dedication to delivering efficient and reliable floating solar solutions.

Led by the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, and RWE, the project is part of the PV2Float research initiative. The primary goals of this program are to analyze the operational efficiency and performance of various floating solar concepts, explore public attitudes and acceptance of floating solar as a renewable energy solution, and investigate the environmental impact and long-term sustainability of these installations.
